Giving Makeup Another Chance

I've been experimenting with makeup to see if I can ever get it right, and I think I like this look. I used an eyeshadow kit by Almay that is made for green eyes with accompanying eyeliner and mascara. I like this neutral daytime look so much I'm thinking about picking up the more metallic daytime look and the very purple nighttime look to try out. I picked up some fair mineral powder foundation and blush that don't make me feel like I'm wearing a cake on my face, and I discovered this neutral lipstick in my stash though I probably need to buy something new in a similar shade because there is no telling how long I've had this particular tube of lipstick. Now if only weight loss products actually worked as well as they were advertised like this makeup specifically for those of us with green eyes does. It's pretty awesome. And it tells you where to put each shade which helped a lot because I had no idea what I was doing. I've never really learned the proper techniques for applying makeup or what shades and applications would work for me. I think I'm finally getting somewhere. Next up: doing something with this mess that I call my hair that involves a cut and maybe some color...
