I Have Returned

Well, we're home from our little Holiday vacation in Tennessee with our families. I completely neglected blogging while away except for a few short notes to fit paid links into every couple of days. We're glad to be home and have a chance to settle back into a routine. We did our grocery shopping and all that fun stuff today so we're all set for Ryan to head back into work tomorrow morning.

Anya surprised us by sleeping 11 hours straight last night. Oddly enough we think it's because of changing her diaper size. We put the first size one diaper on her before bed, and that was it. And all day she's been happy and laughing even during times she'd normally have been fussy previously. I honestly think she just could not stay dry in those tiny newborn diapers, and they were cutting into her and making her uncomfortable. Now that she feels dry longer she isn't waking up from being wet and then deciding she's hungry. She actually stays asleep until she's hungry enough for that alone to wake her. And she fusses less during the day. We had some tummy mat time and several good audible laughs. She's pretty amazing. And right now she's ready for a bottle.
