Settling In

I finally feel like there is a light at the end of the tunnel of this unpacking ordeal. I have reorganized the closets more to my liking and alphabetized our CD's and DVD's (Yes. I am that bad.) so now I just need to go through a few totes of childhood things so I can unpack the last few boxes of odd and ends that may have things that will need to go into the totes. Other than that there are some photos and such that need to be hung which will probably not happen until Ryan comes home, and I'd like to pick up a few organizational things like hooks to tie back the curtains in Anya's room and bins to organize the things under our bathroom sink. It all finally seems to be coming along nicely.

Anya is doing well. She's been having a good period of time that she is awake and plays on her tummy mat while I talk to her each morning. She's been a little fussy throughout the day afterward, but I finally figured out that I needed to up the amount of formula in her bottles. She's able to keep more down at last, and she was simply hungry every hour or two because I wasn't giving her enough. Since I upped the quantity in each bottle, she's doing even better. She took a good afternoon nap, and after a bath and a bottle has been sleeping for almost two hours this evening.

It's looking like I'll be transferring her to her crib before heading to bed myself shortly. I won't get as long of a stretch of sleep staying up while she sleeps, but I think it's a good routine to get into for when Ryan gets home so we can have some time in the evenings together. I'll still get plenty of sleep especially if she keeps getting a stretch of eight hours of sleep before wanting a bottle every night like she did last night. I have an awesome baby.
