Errands and Budgets
Anya was so well behaved all day...until about 6PM. Then we paid for it. But honestly I think she was just really hungry after not asking for too many bottles for the first part of the day. Babies tend to cluster feed every hour or so when they are getting ready for a long stretch of sleep like the one Anya gets every night when we put her to bed. For some reason, though, we didn't figure out that was the problem until she had screamed off and on for three hours between bath time and three bottles. Then she crashed out for the night. Now we know to pay more attention to that issue. We were so caught up in other things that we didn't feel it had been long enough to feed her again, but we'd just lost track of time and didn't take her lack of bottles earlier in the day into consideration. We learned our lesson for next time.
We ran errands today. Picked up the rest of Ryan's uniform odds and ends, but all of the dry cleaning places are closed on Sundays so he'll have to drop them off to be altered and cleaned tomorrow. He got his weekly hair cut. We stopped for lunch. And then we did our grocery shopping though we didn't get much because we're heading home to Tennessee for Thanksgiving in the middle of the week. I really need to enroll in the dental plan Ryan's health care offers so I can get my teeth cleaned and all that jazz. At least we don't have to worry about getting health care through anything like Blue Cross Blue Shield NC thanks to military insurance. It's a wonderful thing. $3 per prescription? Yes, please. Sounds amazing to me. Thank you very much. One less thing I have to worry about. Speaking of which, I think we need to work on our budget now that the celebratory time of Ryan's return really needs to be reigned in. So off to convince Ryan to stop playing his computer game and do just that before our trip.
