Quick Update

After having the lovely fun of a cervical exam this morning at my OBGYN, I now know that I am not in labor at all. Not even a little. Anya is finally head down, thank goodness, so I have that going for me. But I am not dilated or any of that good stuff in the slightest. She's staying put for the foreseeable future. Which is good. She needs a few more weeks of fattening up before she makes her debut. As long as she comes at the end of those three weeks and isn't overdue. Ugh. The craziness that my life will be with moving at that point in time does not need that added fiasco. Please come on time, Anya! I really don't want to take an eight hour drive across state lines mere days after your birth. Heh.

I haven't heard from Ryan in a week now. I did get a letter from earlier in August yesterday that was nice and mushy. I've talked to him since then, though. Just not in the past week. He's being kept pretty busy even with things starting to wrap up. Having more time in between conversations makes the days go by a little faster for me, but I'd rather hear from him several times a day and have the time go by slowly than have to wait weeks between phone calls. I miss having him to talk to about anything and everything.
