Final Ultrasound
I had my final ultrasound to measure Anya's growth today. She's in the 29th percentile at 3 pounds and 13 ounces. So she's in the normal range; just small still. Which I'm sure I will be very grateful for in about eight weeks. Her heartbeat is good and strong at 152, and she finally moved off of my left side - which was making me have a lopsided belly for over a month - to lay across me with her head in my right ribcage. Heh. But since she is doing well and is all proportional I will not be needing any more of these growth ultrasounds so this is the last glimpse any of us will have of her until she is born. I had a tour of the hospital that I will be delivering in this evening, and it just made it all so much more real for me than ever before. I think the only thing that scares me is not having Ryan there. That and the IV needle. I'm pretty sure I'm more anxious about the IV needle than the labor, epidural, and delivery combined. Once I get past the IV insertion, I'll be good to go.

Affordable health insurance while it's still legal?

IVs have always been the scariest part for me. I've had five surgeries, and the toughest part of them all is the threading. Yuck!
