Did you know I can bake?

I made miniature jar cakes for Ryan's 21st birthday. They were roughly the size of cupcakes, and I made enough of them for his entire platoon. I loved that I decided to put cupcake wrappers inside the jars for decoration. And a sticker proclaiming his birthday mounts to each lid in primary colors to match the wrappers. Go me! I shipped them out today so here's hoping they get to him in time for his birthday on September 15th. He's turning 21! I'm sure he'll be teased about his birthday, but maybe they'll back off some when he offers them their share of his birthday cupcakes...in a jar...complete with festive balloon cupcake wrappers. At least, I think they are pretty awesome. It was a team effort by my family. We were all brainstorming ways to make them more amazing and working on getting them together for several hours last night. The result: awesomeness.
