Yay for satellite phones!

Baby is definitely a girl. Yesterday's ultrasound was even clearer on that front. So now I can stop stressing that she's going to pop out male. : P Cause that would just suck at this point now that I've announced her girliness to the world and started dreaming of all the girly things I can actually buy in the stores instead of just looking at them wistfully. But in the end all that matters is that Baby is healthy. Which she is. She's still small but normal small so there's nothing to worry about.

Sims 3 is interesting so far. I'm trying to get used to how it all works and decide whether I like letting everyone else in the neighborhood progress without me, or if I want to attempt to turn that off and play each family one day at a time Sims 2 style. I think I might try that for a while, and then I can always turn progress back on when I get bored with trying to juggle everyone.

I had a pleasant surprise yesterday evening in the form of a 20 minutes phone call from Ryan! It was so very good to hear his voice, because even when I was hearing from him regularly it was over text in a chat window. He's so very excited about the Baby and all of her girliness and can't wait to be home with us next year to spoil us and be spoiled by us. I have a feeling those will be the best days of my life to date. <3
