Clear the Roads

I finally, after 21 years of life, have a drivers license! I only waited 5 years past the required age, but, hey, I got there. I can't wait to tell Ryan. He'll be so proud that I at long last accomplished this feat. Hopefully I'll hear from him sometime in the near future. I sent him a quick Motomail with a photo of me with my license for now so I guess we'll see which means of communication gets the news to him first.

I'm just glad to be able to run my own errands and meet up with friends without requiring a ride from whomever is available, if anyone. Of course, I'm still carpooling with my mom to her office for class over the next couple of days because the Buick has an A/C leak. I had it refilled a couple of weeks ago with a tracer in it so tomorrow they should be able to use a blacklight to find the hole, fix it, and refill it again. Ugh. But I can afford that more than I can afford another car so I just want it fixed. I am not driving 30 minutes to a lunchtime class, pregnant and without A/C. It would end bad for all involved.

Speaking of class, I started my web design class today, and so far I'm feeling pretty confident that I already know enough to get through at least this first portion without much instructing. I'm just looking forward to learning codes and methods I'm not as comfortable with and forcing myself to branch out from the basic HTML and Sitebuilder I use for the blog. I've picked up some CSS and the like along the way, but I don't have the understanding of it I would like to have in order to become good at designing on something other than my Sitebuilder's server. I'm just sad that I'll have to stop school after the summer until at least next summer when everything has settled back down between the baby coming, moving, and Ryan's homecoming. Not that I would trade the time I'm going to get with my little family for hours in a classroom any day of the week. I'll get there eventually. As proven with my license, I always do. I'm just a little slower than societal rules would prefer. But I get there.

...

Anyone looking into the top diet pills? I'm personally an advocate of doing things the good old fashioned, healthy way of changing your eating habits and getting more active. But whatever floats your boat.
