Birthdays and Babies

I got a letter from Ryan yesterday that he wrote several weeks ago. It was full of mush and made me feel all loved and stuffs. <3 Awesomeness. Today we celebrated Shelby's 6th birthday though the big day is actually arriving on Wednesday. She so got a Wii from my parents. She's in heaven right now with some MySims in the living room. Go me for getting her interested in Sim-anything. And Hello Kitty. And the color pink. I suppose my interests *cough*obsessions*cough* are just so awesome that they rub off onto the nearest small child instantaneously.



And I went Baby stuffs shopping today. I've decided that my mother and I are going to make Anya's quilt ourselves, Hello Kitty and all. Because everything that's out there looks like Easter threw up on it. And I'm more into the bright, vibrant colors that I tend to surround myself with at every available opportunity. So this should prove an interesting yet worthwhile endeavor into craft-world. I bought a decent sized rug that matches the colors and butterfly filled theme I'm going for. It's just a taste of things to come.



And then, of course, yet more clothes. I think I'm done now. Haha. Until Autumn when I plan on buying tights and pants to go with her brightly colored tops and dresses. I prefer the colors of the Spring clothes when it comes to infant stuff, but there are no decent tights or pants of any sort out there during the heat of Summer. I won't need much as she'll grow out of it all relatively quickly, but I don't just want to put her in little onesies all day long during the thick of Winter. I'll just be keeping my eye out for some cooler weather friendly accessories.
