The Sickness

Saturday was filled with the goodness of shopping. : D And today I went to church and lunch with my mother-in-law and youngest brother-in-law. I spent the afternoon filling out my FAFSA for the upcoming school year in case I'm able to attend the university for a couple of courses in the Fall, and I filled out the preliminary forms to turn in to the hospital where I will be having the baby in October. (Those two things don't contradict themselves at all. [/sarcasm]) Then I went back to town with my brother to buy some more things to send to Ryan in care packages over the next few weeks. So pretty productive weekend, all in all. Tomorrow I'm heading to the university to get my ID made and double check all of the financial aid mumbo jumbo that is worded so only robots can understand what you actually owe, when, where, and why. And, sadly, I need to go to the university clinic to see about my sore throat because me + sore throat, usually = strep. Oh yeah. Fun stuff while pregnant and unable to take much of anything no matter how much I have to suffer.

I'm going in tomorrow even though this sore throat feels more like sinus issues due to the intense weather change to surface of the sun than anything. My mother-in-law had strep or something similar to it last week when she drove me the eight hours back from Jacksonville after seeing Ryan off, and her illness started off as a sore throat with a little ear pain. Which is exactly what I have. And nothing is quite as awesome as having your ear feel like someone is jabbing a knife into it every time you swallow. Yay. Hopefully I'm catching whatever it is early enough to avoid the horrible congestion and cough she ended up with before it was over. Please, God, let me be catching it early enough to avoid that.

Hopefully it's nothing too serious! I can't even imagine what being sick while pregnant must be like... :(
