Introducing the Little One

Hearing the heartbeat was so surreal. I just wish Ryan could have been there for it. I sent him this photo via cell phone so he could at least have a piece of the experience. I'm 8 weeks along, and our little one is due on or around October 7th. Everything is looking healthy and on track so far.



I'm all set to visit Ryan March 6th-16th as long as he isn't stuck training or something. I hope to take an actual copy of the ultrasound for him to take on his deployment with him. I've been instructed to document and record every moment I can on film so that he can hopefully be involved from a distance or at least experience it all when he comes home. But for now I'm getting ready to travel the eight hours to see him before he has to leave for the next year. Time to start MapQuesting! I'm too cheap for GPS. Heh.
