Thinking of You

I'm completely and totally in love with Katy Perry and her new video for "Thinking of You". I wish I could pull off 1940's half as well as she can, and I have photos of myself as a 1940's soldier to prove that I cannot. Though I don't think I did too shabby for myself, either. If I ever do a 1940's production again, can I please have someone else to spend two hours curling my hair? Because after three or four dress rehearsals plus six or seven performances, my arms were tired.



I cannot beleive that I do not have a single photo of my Hello Kitty guitar from Christmas. I think I was too busy spending the week popping pain pills and attempting to keep at least one meal down on a daily basis. But it looks like this:



I cannot wait until I have it back in my hands in North Carolina and can start learning how to play in the hopes that I can eventually put music to the notebooks full of lyrics from my dreaded high school days. Ah! I'll be able to sing my music at last! No one can begin to understand how exciting this is for me. I've wanted this for so long. And I don't even care if it goes anywhere; I'll be able to play and sing my own songs. And when I sing all my problems go away. It's my happy place. And this gift from my amazing husband will make that place even happier. I can't wait!
