Of Newlywedded Furniturelessness
Ryan and I are getting really excited about moving and finally starting our married life together. We spent most of this evening talking about what kind of rental we'll be looking for in North Carolina and what kind of decor we want for the place. We'll probably be breaking the bank buying new furniture since everything we had was trashable after moving to Knoxville and back again. At least we won't have to worry about looking at bed frames; mine is still in one piece, and the mattress is still awesome! But other than that all we've got is a dresser that used to belong to my mother when she was a teenager (There's residue from a furry, black Playboy Bunny sticker in one corner to prove it. Or at least there used to be...I can't remember if we finally got that off or not.) and the small, two-person dining room table we bought together in Knoxville. But we're saving and looking forward to a nice bonus when Ryan graduates from Comm. School so I don't think we have too much to worry about. We have a basic financial plan in place for all of the things that are going to need to be taken care of quickly upon arriving in Jacksonville, most of them pricey. And we have a little room for slight changes to the plan. So all should be well.
