Lockdown

The weekend came and went faster than ever. Though I was doing some site work in between out of paid blogging necessity, I enjoyed the time with my hubby. : ) Unfortunately when he returned to base this evening he heard rumors that one of the guys got caught with alcohol in the barracks. Which means a potential lockdown. Again. It's been a while since all the crazy lockdown stuffs when I first got out here so I suppose it was only a matter of time before someone got complacent and did something stupid. But geez. Now I may be spending the weekend here without him. We'd spend too much money on travel, food, and entertainment if I went to see him on base every day over the weekend so I'll probably just go on Saturday if this lockdown happens. I'll find out tomorrow after Ryan gets out of class and can call to let me know. At least the next weekend is the beginning of Christmas break so we get to leave and pretend the lockdown doesn't exist for a couple of weeks.

Tomorrow's agenda is finishing up Dad's logo and maybe heading out to get some milk, etc. Ryan went to the store with me today, but I needed juice, water, and all that jazz so I didn't want to make him carry milk home, too. ^_^;; He always carries all the heavy stuffs 'cause he's nice like that. At the moment I'm feeling some ramen or fried rice for dinner and settling in to watch some of my shows before bed. And, yes. I don't start thinking about dinner until midnight. It's how I roll. I've become nocturnal. How I wish I were exaggerating. Haha. At least I sleep - it might be at the wrong time, but I sleep. And I have nowhere else to be so it all works out.
