So Obama is our president...
I'm not happy with the election results, but I'm not disappointed because I saw it coming. I pretty much knew this was going to be the outcome so I'm not all depressed about it. It is what it is, and I'll just have to deal with it for the next four years. My biggest concern is that during those four years my husband is going to be sent to war, and Democrat presidents are infamous for their military budget cuts. I'm not going to be happy if my husband gets injured, or even killed, because his weapons don't have enough ammunition/malfunction or he has to protect himself with sandbags rather than the armor he should have for defense. Or, worse yet, he's forced out of the military on an early out due to lack of funding completely screwing us out of the life we're trying to build for ourselves which is based almost entirely on the USMC and staying in it for the foreseable future.
That and socialist programs, but I'm not even going to get into any of that because it doesn't matter what I say on the subject; it's happening now. Here's hoping the American people haven't dug their own graves with this election. There's nothing I can do about any of it right now. All I can do is make my own decisions in my personal life and be grateful for the happy things in it. I have a wonderful, loving husband whom I love in return more than life itself. We are going to get to go home to Tennessee and our amazingly supportive families for two weeks at Christmas which we are both very excited about. He has a long weekend this weekend so we will have six nearly uninterrupted days together here at the apartment and out on the town. It's going to be amazing. So I have that going for me. ^_^

Is it just me, or is there some interesting meaning to be had from your use of the phrase "out on the town"? Haha... Just don't get arrested! J/k!
Hurray for the six days together! I loved it when Sebert got long weekends... I can't wait for his block leave when he comes home. =] Have fun out on the town!
