Yay for new clothes!

I spent the afternoon shopping in Johnson City with my mother. I used up some of our gift cards from the wedding because I am in dire need of new clothes. Heh. Now at least I have some shirts. I just need at least one more pair of jeans and maybe some skirts and I'll be set for the next year or so if I just add a piece here and there after that. I'm all stocked up on bright colors and Hello Kitty. Haha. And, yes, I realize my clothing choices are that of a 13 year-old, but it works. ^_^ So I wear what I like whether I look my age or not. I tried dressing older for a while, but I just looked like a 13-year-old playing dress-up. : P So I just went back to what I'm comfortable in and the colorful style that appeals to me.

Now I'm catching up on some laundry. I'm going to go through what's left of my old clothes and get rid of the bits and pieces I was holding on to because I had nothing else. Haha. They need to go now. And I need to get rid of the bajillion pairs of shoes collecting dust in my closet. I have a bad tendency to hold on to them thinking I might wear them someday. But someday has yet to arrive so I'm just going to toss them and stop making excuses for myself.

Otherwise there isn't much going on today. I'm just sitting around trying to occupy my time with whatever I can. ^_^;; That seems to be the pattern here lately. Just trying to make the time pass. One week until I see my hubby! ~♥
