Thank God for Current Cell Phone Technology

I got to talk to Ryan a lot on the phone last night. They finally had their phones back so when we weren't talking, we were texting. Probably more than he was really allowed to. ^_^;; But it was so nice just to be able to talk a little without any kind of pressure about time or who we were with. We just talked. I miss having him to talk to. So now I'm slightly recharged on the Ryan front and less mopey about the short time I had with him yesterday on base.

Today I think Kesha and I are going to attempt a trip out to Myrtle Beach, which is about an hour and a half away. Something like that. We might get some food and go shopping first because I don't want to be on the beach in the peak of the day. I will burn in about 2.5 seconds. You only think I'm exaggerating. Haha. It's a sad fact of life that I do not tan; I just burn. Badly. I think Arika and Mallorie are going to stay here and visit some other Marine friends for the day. I adore them both. Arika is an amazing woman whose friendship I appreciate, and Mallorie is just about the most adorable one-year-old on the planet! ^_^ I want one!
