Parting is such sweet sorrow...

Yesterday was insanely hot. It took us over 2 hours to get to Myrtle Beach so we shopped on the boardwalk a little and then walked on the beach for about an hour before it was getting dark so we headed back to the hotel. I talked to Ryan for a couple of hours, but the poor guy was falling asleep from staying up too late talking to me the previous night so I made him get off the phone and get some sleep.



Kesha and I went to Ryan's MCT graduation this morning with Arika and Mallorie, but I didn't see them again after that. I think they were heading straight home to Ohio afterward. The graduation was really short, and I got to stand around for a few minutes with Ryan afterward and again right before he got on the bus to the airport.





Kesha and I drove to the airport and met up with him. Kesha curled up in a chair with her book, and Ryan and I found a slightly less populated seating area to cuddle and kiss without grossing out everyone in the vicinity. Yay for finally getting kisses! ^_^ Kisses are not allowed in uniform. Meh. So I spent a couple of hours with Ryan in the terminal before I saw him off at security.



I'm already sad to be without him again even though we didn't have much time together here. But he'll be able to call me when his plane lands in L.A. It'll be around 8:45PM for him, but it'll be close to midnight here. Then he has to sit around for about three hours before the bus arrives to take him to the base at 29 Palms where his school is to check in. So I'm going to have a late night. ^_^;; I'm clinging to every minute of phone conversation.

It's strange to have the freedom to talk on the phone when you haven't had any kind of real communication in months. It's going to take some getting used to not to have to be on the phone with him every spare second for fear the privilege could go away at any moment. Haha. We can't spend the next two months on the phone.
