"You are exactly my brand of heroin."

So I'm in Parris Island, SC typing from my hotel room on Ryan's laptop. Haha. The trip only took about 6 hours, and I read Twilight (Yay for Kesha letting me borrow it! I'm already over 200 pages into it...and I just started this morning!) pretty much the entire time with a little bit of Sims 2 toward the end. ^_^ It didn't feel like six hours. Once here my grandparents and I went on base a bit and dabbled in the museum and watched some new recruits practicing drill before dinner. Now we're back at the hotel getting ready for an early turn in since we have to be up at like 5AM to go to Ryan's motivational run in the morning.

I'm excited yet nervous about tomorrow. I can't wait to see Ryan again, but at the same time I'm anxious about that first moment when we realize we're in each other's presence for the first time in months with so much to say and nowhere near enough time to say it. And having to share that moment with everyone else that is there to support him, as selfish of me as that sounds. Considering how generously giving I usually am, I deserve a little selfishness once in a while, right? Heh. If only. I'm off to read some more Twilight until the necessity to get up early forces me to sleep.
