Getting Close

Finally got signed onto a cell phone account with Ryan yesterday. I have a temporary phone that will be replaced with the awesome keyboard phone they didn't have in stock. And the keyboard phone came with the plan! Sweetness.

We ended up seeing Speed Racer at the local $1 theater that shows not so newer movies before they come out on DVD. I still think it's awesome, but neither Ryan nor my mother were very impressed, though Ryan, a fan of the cartoon, liked it more than she did.

Today we went to church and showed off Ryan's spiffy uniform (The Charlie's he wore for Family Day and his graduation at Parris Island, not the dress blues.) and stood for our engagement announcement. I'm so darn proud of that boy. ^_^ I can't wait to see him all pimped out in his dress blues for the wedding on Tuesday. Something about a man in a uniform...

I was supposed to have a bachelorette party this evening so Ryan went to see Hancock with my brother, his brothers, and his grandfather before heading to Ryan's mom's house to play video games on his brother's XBox 360 for a few hours and eat pizza. Turned out only Kesha, Mom, and I went to Victoria Secret to buy my wedding night lingerie (Scandalous!), and Katie H was able to eat dinner with us at O'Charley's. (I'll upload pictures when I get them from Kesha.) Now I'm home waiting for Ryan to return. I hated being seperated even for a few hours. Meh. T-T He'll be home any moment, though. One more day before he becomes my husband! ^_^ Yay!
