Slow Down Please

I hadn't realized just how long it had been since I'd blogged. Sorry about that. Haha. All the days just starting blending together. Work, school, sleep, stress about money, rinse, and repeat. : / So that pretty much sums it up. We have paid the bank off at this point so now we're out of debt and working on getting back on our feet. Sometime in the near future we are going to look into opening new accounts at a different bank so that we can close our current ones. All the bills are paid, and the finances are looking good at the moment.

Ryan's car wouldn't start on Sunday, and we thought the battery was dead. Ryan caught the bus with me to the PetSmart, and his manager came to get him from there so he could get to work. I automatically called my parents who drove up for the day and helped us figure out what was wrong with the car. It was some #3 dollar screw that was stripped and as a result not making a good connection. -_-;; Thank God it wasn't something expensive, though. But my parents picked both Ryan and I up from work and took us out for dinner. Though the circumstances sucked it was nice to visit with them for a while.

Hopefully we can go back to Greeneville around Thanksgiving and see my great grandmother. She's in the hospital and, according to my parents, has been given three to six months. T-T So I need to get back and see her ASAP. Not to mention I desperately need to get back to the orthodontist sometime this century.

I need to get back on track with my school assignments. I've been sliding a little because I just go through the motions of school and work so I can go home and forget all my stresses. Work takes up a lot of the time I'd normally spend working on school stuffs so I just need to make the time elsewhere. I plan to get caught up on my Astronomy reading this afternoon while Ryan's finishing up at work and at PT. I also need to look over my new Japanese vocabulary. That's the one subject that definitely hasn't suffered. Going strong there. I just want to make sure I stay on top of it. It's my major so letting stuff slide is not going to fly. Haha. I need to know it inside and out. Of course, constantly immersing myself in the language and culture outside of class helps.

I'm watching a Japanese drama right now called Mother at 14. It's about a girl in junior high that gets pregnant, as if you couldn't guess, and all that she goes through because of it. So far it's really good, but I'm still in the first couple of episodes so I hope it stays so. I'm off to watch an episode of said drama and hit the Astronomy homework.

That's great that your parents were able to help and were able to spend time with you!
