Lazy Weekend

Never did give the apartment that thorough dusting. Haha. Knew that would happen. I'll do it sometime early this week, though. Ryan's mother is coming down for his orientation at Pellissippii State, and my mom, grandmother, and mom's friend June are coming to see me this weekend. Got to have the apartment spiffy for that, ne? ^_~ My little cousin Shelby might be with them. Either way I'm looking forward to a girls' day out. Haven't had one since I moved. I'm either with Ryan, at work, or sitting around alone and bored in the apartment.

I just watched an entire Japanese drama in two days. Konya Hitori no Beddo De. It was pretty good as far as Japanese dramas go. The fact that I spent the entire weekend watching it says something. Haha. ^_^;; It was very adult in terms of maturity. It was about the troubles of adult life, marriage, loyalty, and love within all of the afore mentioned themes. Got me in Japanese mode, though. : P I almost answered the phone in Japanese when Ryan called on his break at work.

So I'm about to break out the kana workbook and brush up on my basics. When Fall comes I want to be able to breeze through the beginning of my Elementary Japanese class. ^_^ Maybe I'll do some song translations or something random. Those help me to learn a few words and some phrasing with the help of my Japanese/English dictionary and Japanese Grammar dictionary. Tomorrow it's back to work!
