Roommate Woes
So Sarah is thinking she might not go to UT. Someone at Tusculum told her it's the same degree, which is BS because no one with a generic business degree from TC ever goes anywhere - meanwhile UT Accounting majors start out making $50,000-$60,000 a year. I understand she doesn't want to move away from her family and all that, though. But still. She has this wonderful opportunity that she's just throwing away because she's afraid to leave this hole in the wall town. Just like everyone else around here. As much of a soft spot as I do have for this place, I can't wait to leave. Come back and visit. But never live here.
Basically Sarah's high school transcript was never sent to UT so they can't assess her until it's in. Instead of going back to the high school to have the transcript sent again she's just been sitting back and doing nothing. Kind of letting the fact that the transcript didn't get sent decide for her so she doesn't actively have to make the decision to come or go. She hasn't said this, but it's obvious. Why else would she keep putting it off? Heh. Just would be nice to go ahead and know that I'm on my own on this one. She's supposed to be my roommate, and if she wasn't going to say anything about not going I would end up stuck with the leftovers as far as roommates go. So today my mother's calling the housing office up at UT to figure out how to get me all signed up for a similar roommate even though Sarah's already on my forms. I'm not going to sit around and wait to get screwed over.

That's right, don't sit around and see what happens. Take action!
