A Brand New Year
The beginning of a new year. Hopefully this one is better than the last. Haha. Last year was full of lost dreams, ruined friendships, and broken hearts. Though it redeemed itself somewhat in the final months. It gave me my best friend Sarah, the love of my life Ryan, and a new opportunity to attend the University of Tennessee in the fall for a degree in International Business with a concentration in Japanese. Thanks to those final twists of fate, 2007 should prove to be the most awesome year of my life to date.
I brought in the New Year with a kiss from Ryan and a toast with my family at my grandparents'. Ryan helped me stumble home a little inebriated from my two drinks. Haha. Ryan tried his first alcoholic beverage...and liked it. ^_^ Heh. Big surprise. He stayed over and left for work at about 10AM Monday morning.
After work that night he took me to Wal-mart after work, and we looked like a young married couple with our little basket full of kleenex, razor, blades, and feminine products - Ryan with a case of Mountain Dew under his arm. Haha. <3 He even stayed over, and on Tuesday morning I got my box of stuff from my relationship with Aaron down and took all of the letters and stuff out of their notebooks so it would all be loose - because Ryan and I have decided we are going to show up at Aaron's dorm unannounced and literally dump the contents of the tote in the hall. Letters, stuffed animals, hoodies, cologne bottles, etc. All of it. So that he has to pick it up piece by piece in front of all of the guys in his hall. And right after I dump it I'm going to say, "This is me saying goodbye," in reminiscence of Aaron's last text message to me. XD Then we are just going to walk away. (Sarah has since told me that she wants to be in on this, too.) We're so evil. Mwaha~
He took me to work on Tuesday, and we ate together before I clocked in. He told me he missed me already as he let go of my hand when he left. (That morning we both said stuff about loving waking up together. Keke.) We didn't think we'd see each other until today, but he ended up going to the movies with me last night and bringing me home for some cuddle time. So all is well.
As for New Year's resolutions:
1) Balance my time. Allow time for Ryan, Sarah, other friends, myself, and hobbies without pushing anything back or making anyone feel unimportant.
2) Get on track with my hobbies. Keep up with my internet responsibilities and catch up on my Japanese entertainment and language learning.
3) Give my all in everything I do and love with all of my heart. Especially Ryan. He deserves it.
Surprisingly, I can't think of anything else. That's a good thing! Not much needs fixing. ^_^ Life is great!

You HAVE to let us know how that thing with Aaron goes; it sounds so evil!
