Prom Blues

Well, it looks like that homemade prom dress is not going to happen. My mother can't make it work, and we're too far into it to save any of it to try something else. So that opens up a whole mess of problems. I have no dress for prom with it being a few weeks away. My parents want me to wear the bridesmaid dress from my aunt's wedding, but that's exactly what it looks like: a bridesmaid dress. Not only that but whatever I do end up doing not wearing the one I told other people my mother and I were making is going to make me look like a liar. Again.

This always happens. I tell people about stuff when I'm all excited, and then something happens where I can't do what I talk about which makes it look like I made it up the whole time. >_< I'm tired of being thought of as a liar. Sick and tired. And I'm NOT wearing that bridesmaid dress. I'm NOT. I can't afford to buy a dress either. I'll just have to figure something out. Hopefully I can.
