I'm Doomed to be Alone

Why must every guy I have any kind of romantic interest in fit the following criteria?:

A) They have a girlfriend.
B) They are at least 21, if not older.
C) They are not interested in any way.
D) All of the above.

Over the past year, I have noticed this trend. And it sucks. Meg and I were talking about the fact that guys just kind of avoid us. They walk around us. Haha. Unfortunately that really is the case with me. Grr. It makes me sad.

And the worst part is I fit in better with people in their early twenties. College students. High school guys are stupid. Literally. They are going nowhere with their lives, and most of them don't care. Where as with the few college guys I know, they have goals, they've accomplished something, and they're going somewhere. It sucks to be mature in comparison to my age group, it really does. Especially when it comes to guys. When older guys see me they think: MINOR!! RUN AWAY!! While I'm thinking that they are only four or five years older than me, and that is not a big gap when a couple is 21 and 25, for example. But because I'm only 16, almost 17, it is a big deal for a guy to be that much older. This sucks. Bleh.

Maybe the guys will catch up to you in college, and you'll find a guy that's mature enough for you. To quote my sophomore English teacher, "The university has 20,000 students, and half of them are guys."

Just keep going and being yourself, and you'll surely find someone for you.

*pats a lot* We have circles. Somehow guys can see our circles. I wish we could all turn our circles off. Erika and I believe "with our circles combined...we can stretch them across Greene County"
