So Much for the Mid-Winter Dance

I wanted to go so, so bad. My dress is beautiful. I already had the jewelry and the shoes, and I had the hair style in mind. GAH! But I can barely walk as it is, more like hobbling, so there was no way I could dance tonight. I wanted to just go and sit there at least, but high heels would be Hell right now, and my parents didn't think it would be acceptable after being out of school for two days. I already bought the ticket, too. ;_; This sucks. I have never missed a dance in high school. Never. Damn it, I'm so pissed about this. Now I have to wait until prom to go to a dance, and my dress will have to wait until next year, if I can still fit into it by then. I think I'm going to go cry now.
